View a File

One of the unique features of Jinolo is the ability to view 2D and 3D CAD files directly in the browser without having to download any additional software. This makes it convenient for users to access and view their designs from anywhere, without having to worry about compatibility issues or software installations. Additionally, Jinolo supports a wide range of file types, and our team is constantly working to add support for more file types based on user feedback. So, whether you're working on a CAD file in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or another software, you can be sure that Jinolo has you covered.

View a File

Here's a guide to help you view a file:

1.

Go to the home page: Start by going to the Jinolo website and logging in to your account.

2.

Click on the title of the file: From the home page, locate the title of the file you want to view and click on it. This will take you to a new page that has a viewer.

3.

Use the viewer: Once you're on the new page, you'll see a viewer that displays the file you selected. Depending on the file type, the viewer will be 2D or 3D-based. You can interact with the viewer by zooming in or out, rotating the file, or using other tools to get a better view of your design.

That's it! By following these three simple steps, you can easily view any file you've uploaded to Jinolo.

We support a wide range of file types in our viewer, allowing you to view your designs without the need for additional software. If a file is currently supported by our viewer, it will appear on the viewer as expected. However, if a file is not currently supported, you will see a message telling you that the file is not supported at this time. Even if the file is not supported, you may still have permission to download it, allowing you to load it into any CAD program of your choice for further editing or viewing. Our team is constantly working to add support for more file types, so if you encounter a file that is not currently supported, please let us know and we'll do our best to add support for it in the future.

3D File Viewer

Our 3D viewer at Jinolo is designed to give you a seamless viewing experience of your 3D files. Once you have selected the file, the 3D viewer will open, displaying the file in its 3D format. In the 3D Viewer the user can:

Centre the object: You can double-click anywhere on the screen to centre the object, making it easier to view from different angles.

Rotate: Holding down the left mouse button and moving the mouse will allow you to rotate the object, providing a more in-depth view of your design.

Pan: To pan the object, you can simply hold down the right mouse button and move the mouse in the direction you want to go. This functionality makes it easier to view your 3D designs in detail, and get a more comprehensive understanding of your design.

Zoom: In addition to the other viewing controls, you can also use your mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out of your 3D design. Scrolling up will zoom in, while scrolling down will zoom out. This functionality provides even more flexibility and control over how you view and interact with your 3D designs in our viewer.

2D File Viewer

In addition to supporting 3D CAD files, we also support 2D files such as PDFs for engineering drawings and other specification documents. Our 2D viewer is equipped with powerful tools that allow users to work with 2D CAD in the browser. In the 2D viewer the user can:

Zoom: Simply use the "+" and "-" buttons located in the center at the top of the viewer to adjust the level of zoom.

Navigate pages: You can also use the arrows at the top of the viewer to navigate through multiple pages in your document.

With these features, you can effectively view and collaborate on a wide variety of 2D documents directly within the Jinolo platform.
